Job Overview

We are looking for self‑motivated Engineers to work side by side with our project team on high, medium, and low voltage utility projects. You will handle various aspects of transmission and distribution line design, including 3‑D modeling, structure design, construction package development, routing studies, field investigations, and more with clients across the country. You will see a project through to the construction phase, requiring travel to client sites.

A Day in the Life
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate civil/structural engineering design activities for the construction of electric transmission line facilities.
  • Perform civil/structural engineering analysis for transmission facilities.
  • Coordinate project schedule and budget.
  • Support development of contracts, technical specifications, or drawing bid packages for new clients.
  • Meet with clients to maintain and grow relationships.
  • Provide technical assistance and training for entry‑level engineers.
  • Interact with staff, the general public, officials, and contractors.
  • Prepare reports or work on special projects.
What You Need to Be Successful
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited school.
  • 4+ years of experience in utility work preferred.
  • Experience in distribution design is a plus.
  • Proficiency in PLS-CADD required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • PE License required.
  • High ethical and professional standards.

Salary

USD $75,000 – $115,000 per year
