Multi-state design firm is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer for their team in Denver!
Responsibilities:- Prepare high-level project designs
- Review project documents and design quality for complex projects
- Provide technical guidance to team members to solve complex problems
- Perform QA/QC to ensure completed designs meet quality standards
- Conduct scope and complexity research
- Lead staff on design approach
- Develop standards and/or guidelines for engineering activities
- Mentor and train junior staff
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- Master’s degree or in pursuit of one (preferred)
- 6+ years of relevant engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design
- Experience with bridge analysis and design programs (LARSA, LEAP Bridge, LPILE, SPColumn, MDX)
- Expertise with DOT bridge projects
- Knowledge of Micro Station software
Salary is commensurate with experience.
