Job Summary
An Industrial Engineering company specializing in mechanical and control systems commissioning and decommissioning is looking for a Professional Engineer to join their team in Aurora, CO. The PE will be a crucial part of the controls organization, with the primary responsibility of augmenting the team as a skill resource on the power side. As an Electrical PE, you will put together drawing packages that outline power requirements of a facility for the installation of conveyance equipment within logistics, manufacturing, and air travel industries.
Other responsibilities include working with the team to establish drawing standards, design in AutoCAD, Inventor, or other 3d packages, and pulling permits. This is a 6‑month contract to hire (will go permanent after 6 months with room for advancement).
- Must Have
- US Citizen
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) Certification
- 5+ years’ experience outlining power requirements for industrial equipment (ideally within Manufacturing, Shipping & Receiving)
- 3+ years AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar design experience for industrial control panels
- Plus
- Experience with conveyor systems
- Experience Programming PLCs
- Experience with Rockwell Automation – RS Logix 5000, RS Factory Talk View (Graphics package)
