Base pay range$25.00/hr - $34.00/hr
Our client is a fast-growing aerospace organization dedicated to advancing the affordability and reliability of spacecraft systems. They specialize in end-to-end mission solutions including spacecraft production, payload integration, system testing, launch services, ground operations, and long-term mission support. Their streamlined approach helps customers access orbit quickly, responsively, and cost-effectively.
Position Overview
We are seeking 10+ full-time Technicians to support spacecraft manufacturing and integration efforts. This is a hands-on role working closely with experienced technicians on complex mechanical assemblies, soldering, harness builds, inspections, and testing. Candidates should be eager to join a collaborative team environment, contribute to spacecraft assembly and operational readiness, and continuously build new skills in the aerospace field.
Core Responsibilities
- Support assembly, integration, and inspection of spacecraft hardware.
- Participate in testing and operational checkout of flight systems.
- Work with senior technicians on mechanical, electrical, and harness builds.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Assist with troubleshooting and maintaining build quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- 2–7 years of experience in aerospace, aviation, or related technical work.
- Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience with electrical, harness, or mechanical build work.
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use precision tools.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
- Eligibility to obtain a U.S. security clearance (Secret or TS/SCI).
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical degree or professional certification (e.g., IPC, J-STD).
- FAA A&P License.
- Active U.S. security clearance (Secret or TS/SCI).
- Experience operating forklifts, cranes, or other shop equipment.
- Previous exposure to aerospace integration and testing environments.
