- Perform root cause failure analysis (RCFA) to develop engineered solutions.
- Provide mechanical technical support to customers, repair shops, and field service activities.
- Reverse engineer motor and generator mechanical designs.
- Assist in development of proposals and RFP/RFQ responses, along with final repair or project reports.
- Provide seller technical support including customer site visits and leading lunch/learns.
- Ensure that repairs meet customer expectations and applicable industry standards.
- Assist with implementation of quality improvement actions.
- Develop and implement mechanical repair practices and training curriculum.
- Drive development of mechanical work motor/generator repair instructions.
- Interpret and ensure compliance with operating policies and procedures.
- Utilize Continuous Improvement Process Solution (CIPS) tools and processes.
- B.S. or M.S. Mechanical Engineering degree (minimum).
- 5+ years’ experience with electrical motor design, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting (preferred).
- Certified Vibration Analyst or experience in machinery diagnostics.
- Strong hands‑on experience in fabrication, machining, manufacturing, machine repair or similar.
- Experience with design, manufacturing, application, repair, testing, maintenance, IIOT and diagnostics of electric motors and generators.
- Advanced diagnostic assessment skills using applicable test equipment.
- Root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and solution development for OEM and aftermarket design problems.
- Technical phone support for service centres and field service personnel.
- Writing of failure reports with critical technical analysis.
- Technical support to the sales team, customer visits, and sales training.
- Excellent communication skills (technical and interpersonal).
- Strong Microsoft Office proficiency.
- AutoCAD, Solid Works or similar CAD drawing skills.
- Strong organizational, time‑management and prioritization skills.
- Clear and concise technical data communication.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.

Location:

Pay: $90,000 – $125,000 annually.
