This Opportunity
WSP is currently initiating a search for a Design Visualization Specialist
for our Denver, Seattle, Portland, Dallas or Tampa office
. This role involves professional services projects with our Visualization & Data Intelligence (VDI) national practice, as part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and bring creative visual solutions to complex engineering challenges. VDI is an in-house visual communications creative team, supporting future-focused projects that are shaping communities. Our devotion to teamwork and innovation affords opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects and technologies.
Impact
- Development of photorealistic 3D Models, still renderings, cinematic animations, and photo simulations to support project planning, design, and delivery
- Consultation, development and clarification of complex, controversial and difficult to describe projects
- Support public engagement and proposal efforts with compelling visual storytelling
- Pursuit of professional development to stay current with visualization technology and development of new communication tools
- Experience self-managing tasks/projects and working within a scope, schedule, and budget.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years in 3D Visualization, VFX, digital media, architectural, engineering or related field industry
- Bachelor’s degree in art, multimedia, cinematography, engineering, architecture or related field
- High proficiency in Autodesk 3DS Max
- High proficiency with advanced render engines (V-Ray)
- High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)
- Proficiency with UE5 and/or Twinmotion real-time development
- Ability to read/understand engineering design plans and BIM/3D design specifications
- Understanding of CADD applications (Autodesk AutoCAD & Revit, Bentley Micro Station)
- Understanding and implementation of lighting, color and perspective
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety, drug/alcohol and harassment policies
- Proficiency in Autodesk Infraworks
- Experience with 3D printing
- Experience in shader development
- Experience in scripting
- Ability to communicate ideas through storyboards, sketches, and simple narratives.
- Proficiency in Section 508 Accessibility compliance
- Experience in scripting

Compensation:Expected Salary (all locations): $76,000 - $92,000
