As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of complex aerospace and defense systems for our customers as part of a multi‑disciplinary team. You will work with cross‑functional teams to understand customer requirements, design solutions, and ensure system integration and performance. • Support the planning, organizing, control, integration, and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility
• Provide independent review and cross‑program coordination to ensure subsystem designs are compatible
• Define, develop, and manage system requirements in coordination with other project staff
• Create system design documents and specifications
• Coordinate system integration and testing
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure system performance and compliance
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
• Perform MBSE planning and activities associated with management of a very large modeling project involving an inter‑disciplinary team

• BS/MS in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 10 years of experience with preference for experience in the aerospace and defense industry; candidates with less experience who have a track record of proven high performance will also be considered
• Proficiency employing MBSE principles on complex programs, including implementing MBSE methodologies such as OOSEM and using MBSE tools such as Cameo/Magic Draw to model systems in languages such as SysML
• Experience in executing complex system development using Agile processes, including integration of Systems Engineering workflows and activities with overall program management and detailed engineering design
• Experience with requirements management tools, such as DOORS or Jama
• Experience with FAA and/or Military Certification processes and requirements
• Experience or certification in INCOSE standards
• Experience with aircraft data systems, aircraft communication data links, and/or Electronic Warfare (EW) systems
• Ability to work successfully in a highly collaborative, fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants.

Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and illegal drug use.

The pay range for this role is:

140, USD per year (Hybrid (Denver, Colorado, US))
