Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Bridge Inspection Team Leader / Engineer IV at the Denver, Colorado office to perform routine, in‑depth, fracture critical, tunnel, and canal inspections. Inspections may include use of snooper trucks, bucket trucks, boats, and/or man lifts.

This opportunity can include bridge design work and the ability to complete design‑related tasks with a clear understanding of state, regional and municipal standards.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS + 6 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Valid DMV license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ years' experience with bridge inspection and/or bridge design.
  • PE highly preferred.
  • AASHTOWare Bridge Rating (BrR) experience.
  • AASHTOWare Bridge Management experience.
  • FHWA‑NHI‑130055 Safety Inspection of In‑Service Bridges Certification.
  • FHWA‑NHI‑130078 Fracture Critical Inspection Techniques for Steel Bridges Certification.
  • FHWA‑NHI‑130110 Tunnel Safety Inspection Certification.
  • Experience operating snooper trucks, bucket trucks, and man lifts.
