Mikron experts will work closely with you to design an automated assembly system that meets your unique, industry-specific processes, whether for high-volume, medium-volume or lab-scale production. Mikron s standard systems are scalable and customizable to meet your current needs and adapt to future production requirements, without the need for costly and extensive future upgrades.
- Provide necessary mechanical support and related information to Customer Service personnel
- Applications, Engineering, Sales, Customer support, and Parts - Support installation of CUS projects at the customer site
- Maintain confidentiality while addressing diverse responsibilities across multiple customer sites.
- Responsible to respond to customers in less than 24 hours for normal requests and within 1 hour for down type situations.
- Receive parts from Logistics in order to assemble machinery following standard procedure
- Accurate mechanical build and installation of stations per design
- Alignment of the machine and conveyor circuit
- Wiring and plumbing of the machine per company’s standards
- Pre-align stations with calibration
- Final alignment and fine tuning of station
- Brainstorm potential mechanical changes with the engineering team
- Install and change mechanical cams
- Run machine during debug
- Install safety guarding
- Other duties as assigned by the Customer Service Mechanical Technician Supervisor or the Customer Service Manager
- Minimum of 1-2 years of Mechanical Technician or equivalent experience
- Willing and able to travel 75% of the year with overtime of 50%, including travel with little to no notice
- Prototype machine assembly experience with pneumatics
- Ability to read, interpret and work from engineering drawings and sketches
- Computer Aided Design experience
- Ability to make sound decisions working independently or working within a team
- Ability to function in a fast-paced work environment
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must be able to travel as requested
- Must be available to work overtime
- May be required to work off shift hours and Holidays
- Must have a valid state Driver s license
- Must have personal credit card for expenses that may be incurred while traveling for company purposes.
