What is this role about?

The Service Manager leads and motivates local Pest Technician teams at Terminix branches to deliver outstanding service and protect customers with Terminix products.

What does a “Day-in-the-Life” look like?

Each day, Pest Technicians visit residential customers to perform pest control treatments. The Service Manager at each branch ensures the team operates efficiently, delivers high customer satisfaction, and complies with safety and regulatory standards. Specific daily responsibilities include:

• Monitor branch scheduling and ensure routes are completed
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safety standards are met or exceeded
• Respond to customer concerns, including resolving cancellation requests
• Inspect and evaluate the performance of Pest Technicians
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of pest control products
• Facilitate continual training of local sales and service teams

What do I need to be successful?

• Associate’s degree (a four-year degree is highly desirable)
• Valid driver’s license for your state of residence
• 1–2 years of related experience is helpful but not required
• Willingness to relocate is highly desirable
• Ability to lead and motivate others
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presenting)
• Problem-solving ability and practical solutions
• Ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers and employees
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Aptitude for basic/intermediate math for sales and service calculations
• Comfort with working outdoors and in confined spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics) when necessary

Base Pay Range

Yearly: $57,750.00 – $75,075.00

While starting pay falls within the given range, it can vary based on location, skills, education, and experience. Total earnings may be affected by overtime, incentives, commissions, performance, and route assignment where applicable.
