Helicopter Mechanic & Avionics Technician.
LocationMalmstrom AFB (Outside of Great Falls, MT).

Program OverviewThis position will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks to support a fleet of MH‑139 at Malmstrom AFB, Montana.
Job Description- Adjusts, repairs, or replaces electrical wiring systems and aircraft accessories, performs preflight, thru‑flight, and post‑flight maintenance inspections, performs miscellaneous duties to service aircraft, including flushing crankcase, cleaning screens, and filters, greasing moving parts, and checking brakes.
- Cleans parts using cleaning solutions and polishing and lapping compounds.
- Performs aircraft maintenance transit inspections and fault resolution.
- Performs work under general supervision.
- Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher‑level staff.
- Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as a helicopter mechanic or avionics technician.
- Experience with Air Force Forms and Technical Orders (TOs).
- Must have the ability to get an Interim Secret Clearance or possess a Active Secret Clearance.
- Driver’s license required.
- 24/7 shop‑must be willing to work different shifts.
- Straight Time : $35.75 an hour (taxed).
- Overtime : $53.63 an hour (taxed).
- Daily Per Diem : $178 a day (for days worked).
This is a Contract position based out of Denver, CO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.75 – $35.75/hr.
