These part‑time, non‑benefited positions support programs designed for non‑collegiate educational programs at the Fisher Early Learning Center and the Ricks Center for Gifted Children. Positions may be

• Teaching assistants
• Substitute teachers
• Early Childhood teachers
• Pre‑K – 8 teachers

These are non‑benefited, part‑time positions not to exceed 1,000 hours in a calendar year.

• Develop curriculum.
• Teach curriculum.
• Support teaching endeavors related to area of specificity.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
• Ability to maintain all required certifications and licensures as they pertain to the role.
• Skills associated with early childhood learning, K‑12 certified professionals and some post‑secondary education.

• Professional training or education related to area of teaching specificity.
• Experience teaching at the level of specificity.

Part‑time; hours will vary depending on the position.

$19.29 – $38.00 per hour. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. Salary will be based on qualifications, departmental budget, internal equity, and available market information, but not on a candidate’s sex or other protected status.
