Lecturer in Business Analytics

OverviewWe are establishing a pool of Lecturers in Business Analytics for future temporary, non‑tenure‑track appointments. Appointments will be part‑time (< 50% FTE) and made semester‑by‑semester as teaching needs arise. The pool will remain active through August 2021; applications will be cleared from the pool thereafter.
ResponsibilitiesLecturers selected from the pool will teach classes in the Business School, generally limited to three credit hours. Courses may be delivered in person, hybrid, online, or remotely. Duties include delivering and tailoring instruction to a variety of language and cultural backgrounds in accordance with prescribed curricular objectives, preparing balanced lesson plans, assessing student progress, and reporting student offenses (plagiarism, cheating, absences, etc.).
We conduct background investigations for all prospective employees to ensure a safe and secure environment.
Compensation will range from $4,915 to $5,360 depending on course level. The salary of the finalist(s) selected will be based on internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training. Minimum Qualifications- Master’s or higher degree in Operations Research, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Management, or closely related field.
- Recent significant professional, technical, or managerial experience in the discipline related to the teaching assignment; at a minimum, significant experience is interpreted as at least five years of duties and responsibilities.
- Prior experience teaching in Statistics, Operations Management, Operations Research, or other analytics focused courses.
