Job Description

Works a set number of hours over one school year with a program specialist who will provide supervision, mentoring and support. Helps fulfill programmatic initiatives, as directed, and creates safe and engaging environments to support students.

- Engages in responsibilities to implement high quality resources and programming
- Maintains open communication with colleagues and program specialists
- Collaborates with colleagues to prepare educational materials, which may include classroom material, district-wide resources and social media content
- Develops an understanding of the education philosophy of Denver Public Schools and the goals to engage and inspire teacher participation, youth and community engagement
- Other projects, as assigned
- Must be a current DPS High School Student
- Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education.
- Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us.
- Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position.
