Title:

** SPED Teacher - Moderate Needs Interventionist##

Job Description:

Responsible for the provision of an individualized service delivery model that utilizes inclusive practices through a combination of special education support provided in and outside of the general classroom environment.## Position Specific Information (if Applicable):## Responsibilities:

--- Prepare for, attend and communicate student progress during IEP meetings.

--- Collaborate with IEP and Assessment Specialist in development of the IEP.

--- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

--- May be required to travel within district boundaries.

--- Collaborate, communicate, and consult with general education staff regarding modifications, accommodations and curriculum/interventions.

--- Responsible for developing, monitoring, and reporting of student Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.

--- May co-teach (per chosen model).

--- Identify, coordinate, and deliver intervention services as outlined in IEPs.

--- May play an active role in manifestation determination meetings.

--- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to determine Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) programming.

--- Coordinate and monitor student specific and/or program Educational Assistants as assigned.

--- Case manager of student needs and parent communication.##

Certifications:

Colorado READ Act designation, which can be acquired via the options described at  - Colorado Department of Education, Special Education Generalist License - Colorado Department of Education##

Hard to Hire Licensed position salaries are set based on one of three salary schedules;
* General, Hard to Hire, and Specialist/Extremely Hard to Hire.

* ** All salary amounts listed on the schedules are based on a full-time (1.0) FTE. If applicable, part-time salaries will be prorated according to the assigned FTE.*## Benefits:
