The Team Lead, Course Development is responsible for leading the creation of high‑quality technical training content for Ping Identity’s customer courses, certifications, and workshops, while coaching a local team of course developers.

You will create engaging, technically accurate learning materials that explain Ping Identity product capabilities and features to developers, system integrators, and system administrators worldwide. Combining hands‑on course development with people leadership to ensure consistent quality, technical depth, and learning effectiveness across the curriculum.

This position reports to the Senior Manager, Certification and Curriculum Development and coaches a local team of course developers.

Responsibilities Technical Course Development
  • Collaborate with and become a Ping Identity Subject Matter Expert to design and develop engaging, hands‑on, task‑based training materials for specific technical audiences.
  • Develop comprehensive student training guides, lab exercises, assessment items, and instructor teaching aids, with guidance on delivery modalities (instructor‑led, e‑learning, video, or virtual).
  • Build and configure Ping Identity products to support realistic lab environments, ensuring steps and configurations are clearly documented.
  • Test and refine training deliverables (labs, guides, presentations) to ensure accuracy and usability.
  • Maintain and enhance existing content, making necessary adjustments and releasing timely updates, including incorporating learner feedback from survey results.
  • Take ownership and manage assigned course projects or components, while contributing to larger team initiatives.
Team Coaching
  • Lead and coach a local team of course developers, supporting skill development, technical growth, and career progression.
  • Provide regular feedback and content reviews to support consistent quality and learning standards.
  • Support onboarding and ongoing development of new course developers.
  • Foster a collaborative, learning‑focused team culture across a distributed environment.
Curriculum Quality and Standards
  • Establish and reinforce best practices for technical accuracy, instructional quality, and content consistency.
  • Review and approve curriculum deliverables produced by the team, providing constructive guidance and technical direction.
  • Support the adoption of instructional design principles and learning standards across the curriculum.
Learner and Instructor Enablement
  • Provide expert technical guidance in response to complex learner or instructor enquiries related to courses you support.
  • Assist authorised instructors by clarifying course materials and supporting effective delivery.
  • Deliver or support Train‑the‑Trainer, Alpha, or Beta sessions for courses where you are the curriculum lead.
  • Contribute to technical marketing and enablement initiatives (FAQs, webinars, videos) in collaboration with the Training team.
Collaboration and Alignment
