Managing Director of Schools

SALARY: $135,000-$164,600 based on years of aligned experience in a role of similar level and responsibilities, up to 6 years. We also offer a if you are moving from a location greater than 75 miles from Denver!
* Drives improvement in DSST’s most mission critical outcomes of the schools you oversee.
* Directly responsible for assisting a school(s) in all efforts to improve a school’s leadership, culture, systems, structures, instructional practices and philosophies, for the purpose of ensuring student academic growth.
* Responsible for supporting, guiding, problem solving, and coaching school administrators in instructional leadership, building a positive and effective school culture, and management of staff.
* Guide, support, coach and develop school administrators with instructional practices that support the mission and vision of DSST Public Schools.
* Responsible for overseeing the development, implementation and monitoring of all school budgets.
* Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university required
* Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in teaching and administration, including a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a school administrator, at least 2 years directly leading a school.
* Evidence of driving meaningful and lasting results at the school level.
* Experience leading school community engagement strategies or events.
* Strong project management and analytical skills
* Strong presentation and communication skills
* Ability to build strong relationships across cross-functional teams
* Ability to navigate uncertainty and ambiguity and to prioritize work efforts to achieve overall strategy
