Job Description
OES Equipment, part of the DPR Family of Companies, is a fast‑paced supply and rental equipment company in the construction industry. We are seeking an energetic and engaging Operations Trainer to train employees in company best practices. This role supports the development and delivery of effective training programs that enhance employee skills and performance.
Duties and Responsibilities- Planning and facilitation of system application training, internal processes, and soft skills for users and teams.
- Assist the organization in achieving strategic goals and objectives through the delivery of supplementary training and content aligned to business needs.
- Provide in‑person training in one‑on‑one, small, and large group environments.
- Assess individual/group training needs.
- Educate users on business best practices, provide support documentation and resources to users.
- Work across various departments to ensure that individual employee needs are being met.
- Address any deficiencies with the training program and resolve them with the appropriate department(s).
- Attend monthly meetings with the Operations training team.
- Participate in meetings with other focus groups when needed.
- Track attendance and communicate training schedule in partnership with internal resources to maintain accurate record keeping.

- Emotional intelligence – Understands the emotions of self and others, manages own emotions, and influences others.
- Andragogy – Understands the principles and practices for effective instructional methodologies, techniques, and tools to facilitate adult learning.
- Assessment – Can gauge learner retention and effectiveness of content delivered, understand progress, and measure impact.
- Minimum of 2 + years of experience in operations, learning & development, or education.
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in classroom instruction, facilitation of technical training, content creation, field training, and coaching, or a similarly related role.
- Experience with software systems Rentalman and Coupa a plus.
- Knowledge of general construction, construction supplies or equipment a plus.
- Travel is expected.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
