We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Special Education Paraprofessional to join our team.

Job Description:
As a Special Education Paraprofessional, you will work closely with students with special needs under the supervision of a certified special education teacher. Your primary responsibility will be to support students in their academic and social development, helping to create a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the special education teacher in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide support to students with diverse learning needs in the classroom.
  • Help students with daily living skills and activities.
  • Supervise students during instructional and non-instructional activities.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to promote student success.
  • Assist in the preparation of instructional materials and classroom organization.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children, preferably in a special education setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting students with special needs.
  • A supportive and collaborative work environment.
  • Four-day work week (Monday - Thursday)
