Job Description:

- Performs classroom duties as assigned, including preparing instructional materials, assisting with student instruction, student care and discipline, and keeping the classroom clean and well-organized.
- Plans and evaluates program and student needs with the teacher daily and addresses specific student needs as identified by the teacher.
- Communicates with teachers and administrators about performance and disciplinary issues.
- Complies with program rules and regulations including State of Colorado licensing requirements for Child Care Centers.

- For ECE Para's Only:
Copy of high school diploma or GED AND must successfully complete ECE 101 within a designated period of time after hire. - Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education.

- Salary Range:
New hires will be set at $21.787 per hour. The salary range for internal candidates is $21.787 to $26.123 per hour. for more information on compensation for these roles. - In addition to competitive compensation, DPS has other Total Reward offerings such as time off, health and wellness benefits, and PERA Retirement.
