The number of these temporary, part-time non-tenure track academic positions varies from semester to semester, depending on the needs of the program. Not everyone in the applicant pool will be contacted or selected to teach.

The Department of Secondary Education, K-12 Education and Educational Technology at Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) invites applications for part-time affiliate faculty teaching positions. This listing is for potential future needs for part-time affiliate instructors of K-12 Physical Education.

• Teach 1-9 credit hours and be available for student consultation.
• Teach courses in Elementary and Secondary Physical Education, including assessment, instructional methods, classroom management, and sports classes.
• Supervise field experiences if applicable.
• Deliver courses in person, online, or hybrid, adapting to course needs and learning new instructional modes.
• Prepare course materials, grade student work, provide feedback, and support students academically.
• Advise students and respond to their questions according to university policies.

Master's degree

• ABD or completed Doctorate
• Experience teaching elementary and/or secondary school physical education

Part-time, at-will, on a per-credit-hour basis, usually semester-by-semester. Not eligible for benefits. Teaching is primarily in person.
