Overview
The School of Education seeks applications between January 1, 2026 and June 30, 2026 from individuals interested in securing temporary instructor positions within the Organizational Learning, Performance and Change (Ph.D.) program for the academic year. Instructors teach face-to-face in Denver and occasionally online courses in areas of their expertise and are hired periodically for fall, spring, and/or summer term, contingent upon enrollments and need.
Reappointment may depend upon performance and the availability of funding.

$1,666.67 per credit hour instruction
$50,000 base salary
Conditions Of EmploymentPre-employment criminal background check (required for new hires).
Required Job Qualifications- Earned doctorate degree in human resource development, human resource management, industrial organizational psychology, management, or a related field
- Demonstrated excellence and a current and active connection to the practice of organizational learning, performance and change
- Experience teaching courses in areas such as performance management, organizational development and change, change facilitation and leadership, learning transfer, action research, change management, organizational development, and performance consulting
- At least three years of professional work experience in business, industry, government, or a nonprofit organization as a practitioner in the field of human resource development or management, or as an internal or external consultant such that the applicant can share relevant examples in courses and create opportunities for collaboration
- At least five years of work experience in business, industry, government, or a nonprofit organization as a practitioner in the field of human resource development or management, or as an internal or external consultant such that the applicant can share relevant examples in courses and create opportunities for collaboration
- Experience in teaching graduate students who are preparing for roles in organizational learning, performance and change careers
- Experience with online instruction and at-a-distance technologies
- Record of scholarship and publication in academic and professional journals relevant to organizational learning, performance management, organizational development and change, change facilitation and leadership, learning transfer, action research, change management, organizational development, and performance consulting
