Overview
Clinical Affiliate Faculty, Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Program – Regis University, Northwest Denver Campus. The faculty member oversees clinical rotations for FNP students, provides indirect clinical supervision, and serves as a liaison to clinical sites. Approximately three site visits per semester are expected to evaluate the student.
Major Duties and Responsibilities- Orientation: familiarize with course objectives, communicate with students, set up site visit schedules.
- Clinical Teaching: conduct about three placement site visits per semester (in-person if the office is within 45 minutes), schedule visits for at least one hour, meet with the student and preceptor together and separately, and observe 1–2 patients if time permits. Maintain professional relationships with preceptors and site staff.
- Student Evaluation: complete a site visit evaluation form, complete an end-of-semester student evaluation online, and promptly notify course faculty regarding student issues (e.g., absences, critical incidents, illnesses, emergencies, or other performance concerns).
The University appointment is part-time and temporary in nature with no fringe benefits. After the University appointment, clinical rotation hiring occurs on an as-needed, limited-term basis. Must maintain current health requirements, training, licensure, and certifications on file with the Loretto Heights School of Nursing.
Minimum Qualifications- An active, unencumbered license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Colorado.
- Minimum of two (2) years of full-time, or equivalent, professional nursing practice.

Additional DetailsThis job will remain posted until filled, with a priority Final date to receive applications of January 28, 2026. These positions are benefits-eligible for workers' compensation and will receive 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum of 48 hours per year. Pay Rate: $420 per student per semester.
