Engineering for US All (e4usa) is a national initiative expanding access to high-quality engineering education in high schools across the United States.

We are inviting high school teachers, schools, and school districts to apply to join e4usa Summer 2026 Professional Development, which prepares educators to teach year-long, project-based engineering courses that center real-world problem solving, teamwork, and design thinking.

What is e4usa?

e4usa offers a suite of full-year high school engineering courses, including:

  • e4usa+Making (engineering design, CAD, and prototyping)
  • e4usa+Programming (engineering applications of programming and computational thinking using MATLAB)
  • e4usa+Design (capstone engineering design projects)
  • e4usa Legacy (introductory engineering course)

Teachers do not need prior engineering experience to participate. e4usa professional learning is intentionally designed to support educators from a wide range of backgrounds.

Summer 2026 Professional Development

Teachers accepted into e4usa participate in:

  • Summer 2026 professional learning (in-person and/or virtual options)
  • Year-long support during the academic year, including coaching and a national Community of Practice
  • Access to curriculum, instructional resources, and assessment tools
Scholarship Funding Available

Scholarship funding is available to support teacher participation. Teachers may apply for scholarships directly within the e4usa application, making it easier for schools and districts to participate.

Who Should Apply?
  • High school teachers (any subject area) interested in teaching engineering
  • Schools or districts looking to expand engineering or CTE offerings
  • Educators serving Indigenous, rural, and underrepresented communities
  • Must be a current or prospective high school teacher (grades 9–12)
  • Commitment to attend Summer 2026 professional development
  • Commitment to teach an e4usa course during the 2026–2027 academic year
  • Willingness to engage in year-long professional learning and community activities
No prior engineering or programming experience is required.
