Position SummaryThe Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) invites applications for part-time affiliate faculty teaching positions. The primary responsibility is to teach chemistry courses (lecture and laboratory) at basic and advanced undergraduate levels.

MSU Denver enrolls over 16,000 students, nearly 60% of whom are first-generation students and over 55% are students of color. We are particularly interested in applicants with experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and a commitment to improving access to higher education for underrepresented and minoritized groups.
- Master's degree in Chemistry or a closely related field.
- Doctorate.
- Previous teaching experience.
Affiliate faculty are part-time, at-will employees hired to teach on a per credit hour basis, usually semester-by-semester. They are not eligible for university benefits. Assignments depend on budget and enrollment. Candidates must be prepared to teach in person/on campus upon hire.
SalaryThe final salary is based on the number of credit hours assigned, at rates determined by university policy. For more information, see:
