A teacher will perform effective teaching methods to ensure student success and promote an exemplary educational program that fosters achievement for all students.

• Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities.
• Create a positive educational climate for students to learn.
• Meet course and school‑wide student performance goals.
• Participate in ongoing training sessions.
• Create lesson plans and modify themರಲ್ಲಿ throughout the year.
• Grade papers and perform other administrative duties as needed.
• Read and stay abreast of current topics in education.
• Use various curriculum resources and technologies to enhance student learning.
• Integrate competencies, goals, and objectives into lesson plans.
• Use district curricula that reflect students’ diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
• Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities; prepare & distribute parent communications.
• Observe and evaluate student performance.
• Manage student behavior, creating appropriate behavior strategies.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Minimum age: 18 years.

• Criminal background check required for hire.
• Must possess, or be in process of obtaining, a valid Colorado Educator License within 30 days of hire.
• Must possess the required license and endorsement.
• Highly qualified applicants with a content test or semester‑hour endorsement may apply as long as they qualify for a Colorado license (CDE‑approved content test or 24 semester hours).

Preference given to candidates with ELL training and/or an ESL/ LDE Linguistically Diverse Education endorsement.

All salary placement follows the Certified Salary Schedule and depends on education/work experience. Certified/licensed employees receive one year earnable credit for each full year of hystorical or contractual teaching experience, up to ten years. Verification of experience is the applicants’ responsibility. Refer to the district’s Certified Master Agreement on the website for details.
