Aspen Academy is seeking exceptional Early Childhood Teachers to join our Early Childhood Division for the 26-27 school year!

Salary Range: $34,720 - $43,400 (based on experience and education)

About Your Role
  • You foster young children’s natural curiosity, engagement, growth, and development in all areas: physical, cognitive, social, and emotional.
  • You set gentle and consistent boundaries, encourage learning through play and exploration, and create a safe and nurturing environment for young children to make choices.
  • You are a warm, caring, creative, patient, and enthusiastic professional who loves working with young children - toddlers and/or preschoolers. You are always looking for ways to learn and grow as an educator.
  • You understand and implement developmentally appropriate practices and create engaging learning experiences through play and exploration.
  • You communicate clearly and kindly with children, families, and colleagues.
  • You are organized, manage your time well, and are sensitive to the social and emotional needs of young children and their families.
What You’ll Do
  • Classroom Strategies and Behaviors:
    Communicating learning goals and feedback, establishing rules and procedures; helping students interact, practice and deepen new knowledge, and generate and test hypotheses; engaging students; recognizing adherence to norms and procedures; establishing and maintaining effective relationships with students; communicating high expectations for all students. Creating and maintaining a classroom environment aligned with “Love and Logic” Principles.
  • Planning and Preparing:
    Planning and preparing for lessons and units, resources and technology, needs of neurodiverse learners and differentiated learning styles, implementation of culturally responsive classrooms.
  • Developing and Maintaining Strong, Positive and Productive Partnerships:
    Communicating proactively, positively and consistently with students, parents, teammates, and our community, fostering a collaborative and supportive community.
  • Reflecting on Teaching:
    Evaluating personal performance as well as developing and implementing a professional growth plan.
  • Collegiality and Professionalism:
    Champion a positive environment; promoting an exchange of ideas and strategies; promoting our school and its community’s development.
What You’ll Need to Get the Job Done
  • Required:

    Lead ECT qualified through education or PDIS Early Childhood Professional Credential Version 3.0 Colorado Shines Credential Level 2 or higher.

    Bachelor’s Degree or some college level coursework, preferably in education, early childhood…
