Early Childhood Education Preschool Teacher – The Goddard School

We are looking for fun, patient, and energetic teachers! The program enhances children's emotional, social, intellectual, and physical development and provides a foundation for a lifelong love of learning.

• Diaper changes throughout the day/potty training for children under three (or support for a Resource Teacher)
• Develop lesson plans
• Meet the individual needs of the children
• Positive parent, colleague, and student communication
• Participate in staff and training meetings
• Design appropriate room arrangement to support developmental goals
• Interact with children to support play, exploration, and learning
• Present expectations appropriate to the child's age and developmental level
• Plan and implement activities that develop self‑esteem and social skills
• Communicate professionally with parents and fellow staff
• Build teamwork and use assessment tools
• Commit to continuing education

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, or a related field
• BA or higher that includes 18+ credits in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
• Associate's degree with 18 semester hours of courses directly related to children age 0‑8
• At least 1 year of experience working with children ages 6 weeks‑6 yrs
• Completed or currently taking ECE 101 and ECE 103 (or level two PDIS trainings)
• Qualified Early Childhood Teacher (state certification if required)
• All employees must complete a Central Registry background check as well as Colorado and Federal DOJ fingerprint background check
