The Department of Health Professions at Metropolitan State University of Denver (MSU Denver) invites applications for part-time affiliate faculty teaching positions in Health Care Management.

MSU Denver enrolls over 17,000 students, with nearly 60% first-generation and over 55% students of color. Located in downtown Denver, we are a designated Hispanic Serving Institution, an INSIGHT into Diversity HEED Award winner for 10 consecutive years, and the only Seal of Excelencia certified institution in Colorado. We serve the most diverse undergraduate student population in the state, including many first-generation and DACA students.

We are particularly interested in applicants with experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and a commitment to access and equity in higher education.

• Teach 3 or more credit hours in areas such as Health Care Organization, Jurisprudence, Financial Management, Human Resources, Economics, Management Principles, and Strategic Management in Health Care.
• Be available for student consultation and support.

Additional duties include delivering courses in person, online, or hybrid; preparing course materials; grading; providing feedback; advising students; and complying with university policies on instruction and evaluation. Candidates should be adaptable to different instructional modes and sensitive to a diverse student body.

Master's degree in health care management or related field.

Dissertation complete, defense pending, or professional degree.

Part-time, at-will employment on a per-credit-hour basis. No benefits. Teaching assignments depend on budget and enrollment. Candidates may be required to teach in person depending on course needs.
