Montessori TEP Instructor

The Montessori Education Center of the Rockies in Denver, Colorado is growing our circle of passionate, experienced Montessori Teacher Educators.

At MECR, we believe that every instructor brings something uniquely valuable, a story, a perspective, a way of seeing the world that reflects the identities of the Adult Learners we serve and helps our community grow stronger. We welcome educators who are curious, creative, committed to lifelong learning, and eager to collaborate, reflect, and engage in our ongoing conversations about identity, culture, and belonging in Montessori education today.

Since 1978, MECR has been a MACTE-accredited and AMS-affiliated Teacher Education Program dedicated to preparing adults for the beautiful work of spreading authentic Montessori eduction to as many children as possible. We'd love for you to bring your experience, your openness, and your heart to this work with us.

MECR instructors are independent contractors paid at an hourly rate for instruction. As independent contractors, each instructor is responsible for reporting their MECR income and any business-related expenses (like mileage) on Schedule C of their tax return. Hiring preference will be awarded to applicants local to the TEP.
