Hourly Pay Rate: $170–$230/hr

Medical Oncology Job Details

Schedule:
5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift;
Thursday/Friday, plus on-call coverage

Physician Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical or osteopathic school
Residency trained in Medical Oncology or related specialty
Active Colorado medical license
Board certification or board eligibility in Medical Oncology
Valid DEA license in Colorado
BLS or ACLS certification (acute care hospital or ambulatory clinic)
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in oncology or hematology patient care
Strong oral and written communication skills
Compassionate, approachable, and trustworthy healthcare professional
Commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical standards
Medical Oncology Physician Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage hematology and oncology diseases, injuries, and conditions using history, physical exam, and diagnostic tools
Prescribe and provide appropriate treatment for oncology patients
Educate patients about treatment options and address concerns with a patient-centered approach
Document patient care accurately in the medical record for compliance and quality
Lead and support the clinical healthcare team
Consult with colleagues and refer patients as needed
Provide office visits, phone consultations, electronic communication, and on-call coverage
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for quality, safety, and patient experience
Engage in ongoing professional development and learning
Promote the mission, vision, and values of the healthcare organization
Perform additional duties as required by specialty and contract agreement
