Perkins&Will Denver is seeking a Designer II with 3-5+ years of experience to contribute to design work across projects. The role supports the design team with creative ideas, documentation, and collaboration while working under supervision to meet project goals and standards of design excellence.
Responsibilities- Uses enhanced knowledge of project complexity to contribute to the team’s success by adhering to firm and project goals and standards of design, execution, and living design.
- Assists in generating creative design ideas, concepts, and solutions as an integral member of the design team.
- Generates drawings under supervision for schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
- Performs product research and assists with material selections.
- Applies critical and creative judgment in preparing client presentation materials.
- Completes tasks on projects within schedule and budget in an organized, timely, and consistent manner.
- Self-checks work for accuracy, omissions, legibility, and document compliance per the Project Delivery Manual.
- Keeps open communication within the team and with the designated team leader.

- Proficiencies: BIM;
Building codes;
Site analysis;
Preliminary design studies;
Contract documents;
Field measurements;
Life safety requirements;
Specifications;
Construction contract administration;
Sketching - Software:
Functional knowledge of 2D/3D production software;
Intermediate Revit;
Conceptual modeling tools such as Rhino and Grasshopper;
Microsoft Office / Adobe Suite;
Visualization tools such as Enscape and VRay;
Physical modeling tools such as 3D Printing and Laser cutting;
Presentation tools such as InDesign and Photoshop;
Environmental analysis software such as Ladybug and Climate Studio - Licensure/Certification s/
Education:
LEED GA within 6 months of hire;
Professional accreditation in Living Design (e.g., LEED AP with Specialty, BREEAM AP, WELL AP, SITES AP, PHIUS PPP/CPHD, or ILFI Living Future);
Preparing for ARE and active involvement in AXP;
Bachelor's degree in architecture or related discipline

Salary RangeAt the time of posting this job advertisement, the annual pay salary range for this position in Denver is between $66,000 and $84,200.
