CompensationSalary Range: $180,000 – $220,000, commensurate with experience.
What is the role?We are looking for a Director of Product to serve as the strategic architect for our product organization. You’ll build the Product Operating System from the ground up, lead the transition to an outcome‑focused product engine, install data loops, discovery frameworks, and strategic rigor, and change how we deliver value.

What will you do?- Build the Voice of Customer Engine – implement rigorous continuous discovery loops (customer interviews, advisory boards, user testing) to validate that we solve the right problems.
- Establish Data‑Driven Rigor – partner with Engineering to define instrumentation, choose analytics tools, and ensure each roadmap item has a clear success metric before code is written.
- Define the End‑to‑End Lifecycle – professionalize our product development process from ideation to post‑launch measurement, ensuring early collaboration with Design and Engineering.
- Own the Whole Product Experience – lead a unified team of Product Managers and Product Designers, bridging design and product management to create seamless hardware and software experiences.
- Architect the Roadmap Process – work with the Head of Product to translate company vision into a coherent 12‑month strategy, balancing enterprise commitments with market innovation.
- Mentor & Elevate the Team – guide PMs from ticket‑level work to ownership of business outcomes.
- Direct Product Operations – lead a Product Operations Manager to manage launch logistics, release communications, and beta program coordination, freeing you for high‑leverage strategy and discovery work.
- Customer Obsession – relentless validation of assumptions with real users.
- Ownership – long‑term focus, taking responsibility for outcomes instead of merely shipping features.
- Bias for Action – calculated risk‑taking, speed, and iterative MVP testing.
- Dive Deep – operate at all levels, scrutinize data, and resolve friction on the ground.
- Insist on the Highest Standards – apply rigorous frameworks (Jobs to be Done, RICE) to raise the team's quality bar.
- Data‑Hungry, Not Data‑Paralyzed – build dashboards and instruments to back intuition with evidence.
- Learn and Be Curious – continuous learning, especially around physical product aspects and how code impacts manufacturing.
- 8+ years of Product Management experience, primarily in B2B or Enterprise SaaS.
- 3+ years of People Leadership – hiring, coaching, and elevating Product Managers, with strong collaboration with Product Design.
- Data Fluency – ability to define success metrics and partner with engineering to implement analytics stacks (Amplitude, Full Story, Pendo, etc.).
- Proven Builder Experience – documented design and implementation of a system such as a Voice of Customer program, Planning Process, or Discovery Loop.
- Discovery Mastery – deep experience conducting customer interviews and translating feedback into strategic insights.
- Physical Product Context – experience with IoT, hardware, logistics, or real‑world operations.
- Industry Background – familiarity with multifamily real estate, access control, or security industries.
