As a Senior Designer, you will shape innovative interiors, lead projects from concept to completion, and collaborate with our team to deliver exceptional results.   • Detail‑Oriented: You have in-depth knowledge of building codes, interior materials, finishes, specifications, and construction techniques, and you’re able to apply this knowledge to coordinate with architectural teams and ensure the best design solutions.
What You Need:
  • Education & Experience: A bachelor’s degree in Interior Design (or related field) and a minimum of 6 years experience in all phases of design.
  • Design Software: Proficiency in design software like Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, InDesign, Enscape, and Bluebeam.
  • Technical skills: You are versed in the development of construction docs and specs, with a high-level knowledge of building codes (ADA, IBC, etc.), and experience with consultant coordination.
  • Stellar communication skills: You will lead coordination and collaboration with consultants, contractors, and vendors. You’re the go‑to person when it comes to keeping projects organized.
What You’ll Do:
  • Lead Design Vision: You’ll be the go‑to person for developing and refining design concepts and presentations that align with client goals and Vida’s standards. From 3‑D modeling and material selection to lighting and furniture packages, you’ll guide the creative process and make sure every detail shines and is fully coordinated with other consultants.
  • Project Knowledge: Lead large‑scale projects from start to finish—showing your skills at every phase of the process.
  • Provide management support: You’ll assist the Design Manager with project scheduling, budget management, and team coordination to keep things running smoothly.
  • Collaborate with the team: Work hand‑in‑hand with other Designers and Design Managers to bring ideas to life—from concept to construction. Ensure quality control across all project phases, including Construction Documentation and Administration.
  • Client Interaction: Play an active role in meetings, presenting ideas, taking notes, and ensuring clients feel heard and excited about the process.
  • Mentor designers: Share your knowledge with the next generation of designers, providing hands‑on guidance in both design and project execution.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 / year

* Compensation within the salary range will be determined by various factors, such as relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and the needs of the business or organization.
