Project Manager

AIA Colorado is seeking a creative, skilled, and organized individual to join our team in Denver. We are driven by collaborative design excellence with a keen focus on creating site-specific, culturally sensitive, diverse, and innovative architectural solutions for people to enjoy across the world.

As a Project Manager at 4240 Architecture, you will lead the design process, manage schedules, and coordinate teams across multiple projects. We employ a charrette-based process to uncover site-specific, economically feasible, and sustainable designs.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Oversee the design process and lead the project schedule and team through documentation.
  • Lead and mentor staff at all levels, and collaborate with consultants and owners.
  • Manage project milestones, goals, and budgets.
  • Work closely with↵ the Principal in Charge and the Project Architect to lead design direction and project management.
  • Collaborate with project team to find best solutions and achieve superior quality of design and documentation.
  • Manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
  • Mentor junior staff.
Qualifications & Skills
  • NAAB-accredited degree in Architecture. 苟ਕੀ
  • 8‑15 years of professional experience (licensed professionals preferred).
  • Passion for sustainable design solutions and certifications, with software knowledge preferred.
  • Independent, resourceful leadership style.
  • Strong design and graphic skills.
  • Deep experience in project planning, management, contracts, and invoicing.
  • Hand‑drawing and sketching skills preferred.
  • Knowledge of building codes, zoning, and DRB materials.
  • Proficiency in Revit, Sketch Up, Excel, Smartsheet or similar project management software.
