Physician - VA Exam Reviewer

Overview

Kelly Government Solutions is seeking Healthcare Providers to conduct VA disability exams for Veterans.

Location:

Office within 50 miles of Denver, Grand Junction, Pueblo, or Colorado Springs, CO. This is a contract position offering supplemental income.

Disability determinations are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), not by the provider. This role does not involve treatment or prescribing medication.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm; patients scheduled monthly so you can modify. You control how many exams are scheduled within 1 and 5 days per week. Average exam length is about 35 minutes, depending on complexity.

• Active/Unrestricted license
• Updated resume/CV (NPs and PAs must have at least 2 years of licensed experience; waivers may apply)
• Active certifications relevant to the profession for MD/DO (board or not), ANCC or NCCPA board certification (for PA)
• Degrees conferred within the United States must be from institutions accredited by LCME, COCA, ACEN, CCNE, or NCCPA

• A compassionate provider dedicated to supporting the Veteran community
• Strong analytical skills to review medical records and assessment data
• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
• Proficient in electronic documentation and web-based portals
• A professional and empathetic demeanor when interacting with Veterans
