Position Summary

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a key role in supporting daily operations by providing professional, courteous, and efficient service to customers, vendors, and internal teams. This position is responsible for managing inbound and outbound communications, processing customer quotes and sales orders, and ensuring work is scheduled and completed accurately and on time. The CSR builds and maintains strong relationships with customers and vendors through proactive communication, follow-up, and problem-solving.

In addition, the CSR supports administrative functions, contributes to achieving departmental KPIs, and maintains a thorough working knowledge of the company's products and services. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to creating a professional and respectful experience.

Roles and Responsibilities

* Provide administrative support for the company, including filing, mailing invoices, and general office tasks.

* Answer and manage incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner, referring non-CSR calls to the appropriate department.

* Develop and maintain strong customer and vendor relationships through regular communication and follow-up.

* Assist in making outbound sales calls to confirm work, schedule new jobs, and support achievement of daily job targets.

* Process customer quotes and Daily Rental orders accurately in TCR, Rental Man, and other company software.

* Ensure all customer orders are processed, scheduled, and delivered correctly.

* Complete, edit, and close out tickets in a timely manner to meet daily/weekly/monthly KPIs.

* Research, troubleshoot, and resolve customer inquiries related to traffic control, fencing, and other construction services.

* Maintain and continually expand knowledge of company products and services.

* Build sustainable relationships of trust through open, professional, and respectful communication.

* Conduct oneself in a manner that promotes a positive and professional workplace atmosphere

Working Environment/Physical Requirements

* This position is based in an office setting with frequent use of a computer, phone, and other standard office equipment.

* Requires extended periods of sitting, typing, and handling paperwork.

* Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally (such as files, office supplies, or small packages).

* Work may involve occasional interruptions, shifting priorities, and deadlines that require flexibility and adaptability.

* Regular interaction with employees, customers, and vendors via phone, email, and in-person communication.

* Standard business hours apply, with occasional overtime as needed to meet operational demands.

* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move 50-70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Requirements

* Valid driver's license and clean MVR Must maintain a valid driver's license during entire employment

* 2 years of sales experience

* 2 years of customer service experience

* Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens.

* 1-2 years of customer service or administrative experience.

* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and courteous phone manner.

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn company software systems (TCR, Rental Man, etc.).

* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

* Problem-solving skills with the ability to research and resolve customer issues promptly.

* Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and team members.
