Job Summary

Assist in the oversight of gym operations to ensure a positive member experience. Key responsibilities include training staff, managing front‑desk tasks, maintaining club cleanliness, supporting marketing efforts, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist in training and developing staff.
  • Oversee member service and ensure excellent customer experience.
  • Handle front‑desk tasks: answer phones, take information calls, check members in, sign up, cancel, and update member accounts.
  • Tour prospective members and provide gym tours.
  • Facilitate member service issues and questions.
  • Support team member management and provide backup support to Club Manager.
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
  • Help create and maintain a positive image for the club.
  • Oversee cleanliness and appearance of the gym.
  • Manage marketing efforts and keep staff trained on current promotions.
  • Order supplies, keep inventory, and track reports as needed.
Essential Behavior Requirements

  • Communication: maintain timely communication with team members and supervisors to increase productivity and prevent misunderstandings.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Honesty and good work ethic.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
Physical Demands
  • Stand and walk at least 75% of the shift.
  • Talk in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs less than 30% of the time.
