Passenger Service Agent

Join Menzies Aviation LATAM in Denver, CO as a Passenger Service Agent
. As a member of the Passenger Service Team, you will be responsible for checking in passengers for flights at the ticket counter and gates, verifying passenger documentation, assigning seats, providing gate information, checking baggage, and assisting passengers with issues in the airport.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist passengers with check‑ins, verification, gate information, baggage claims, and any other passenger issues in the airport.
  • Interpret identification labels along with baggage and cargo routing tags.
  • Host self‑service kiosks.
  • Ensure that all work areas are organized.
  • Keep a positive attitude while offering assistance.
  • Ensure safe and secure operations.
  • Comfortably lift/move up to 70 lbs of cargo and baggage.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Compensation & Benefits
  • $19.50 per hour with uncapped commission.
  • $0.50 base wage increase after 6 months of service, $0.50 increase after 1 year, and $0.50 increase after 2 years.
  • $40 monthly travel voucher or free parking pass.
  • Sales commission for agents complying with the policy is paid monthly.

Qualifications
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Pass pre‑employment drug screen.
  • Proficient reading, writing and speaking in English.
  • Comfortable lifting 70 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for long periods at the ticket counter and gate check‑in areas.
  • Pass FBI background check and obtain US Customs seal.
  • Available and flexible to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Prior customer service experience strongly preferred.
  • Intermediate computer skills required.

  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed.

  • Fully versed in International Aviation Safety and Security standards.

  • Inform manager/supervisor of any work situation, equipment or activity that represents a serious or immediate danger to health and safety.
  • Report any hazards, near misses, incidents, accidents or dangerous occurrences to manager/supervisor.
  • Follow procedures contained in the manual.
  • Carry out work in accordance with training and workplace health and safety rules or procedures.
  • Fully understand the company health and safety policy.
  • Attend training courses as arranged by the company.
Working Conditions &

Physical Requirements

Work is primarily indoors near terminals with open doors where harsh weather may affect conditions. Uniform includes a long coat. You will work with disgruntled customers and must maintain a positive attitude. Physical demands include frequently standing, walking, sitting, and handling objects. Lifting up to 70 lbs and moving up to 25 lbs is required.
