Faves is building the future of athlete-backed commerce. We’re the first sports-tech platform designed to truly connect athletes, brands, and fans by combining athlete-owned storefronts, shoppable recommendations, and real attribution data. Faves turns the products athletes actually use into a scalable, measurable growth channel for brands and a sustainable business for athletes.

As the performance economy reshapes how consumers discover and trust products, we provide the infrastructure brands need to activate athlete partnerships at scale, and the tools athletes need to share their favorite gear, nutrition, and technology they already rely on with their audience.

Since launching this fall, over 500 professional athletes are already live on the platform, spanning endurance, leagues, action sports, and beyond. To date, Faves has raised over $3M from institutional and angel investors to fuel our next phase of growth.

THE ROLE
We’re looking for sharp, ambitious Social Media & Content Interns to help elevate our Faves athletes across Tik Tok and Instagram. Your focus will be on ideation, shooting, and editing content, especially alongside professional athletes based in your city.

Your efforts will be focused on supporting our Social Media Manager with content production, athlete collaboration, and platform-native storytelling.

This is a hands‑on internship at the intersection of sports, culture, and commerce in the early stages of an awesome startup. You’ll help define how fans discover the products athletes actually use, own, and endorse.

LOCATION REQUIREMENTS
We will be hiring one intern in each market:

• Denver / Boulder, CO
• Los Angeles, CA
• Salt Lake City, UT
• Miami, FL
• Portland, OR
• Flagstaff, AZ

* Applicants must reside in or have the means to reside in one of these markets for the duration of the internship. A core part of this role involves linking up with Faves athletes in-person to create content.

WHAT YOU’LL DO (RESPONSIBILITIES)

• Concept and produce premium short-form content for Tik Tok & Instagram
• Collaborate with Faves athletes to ideate & shoot content in-market
• Identify trends, formats, memes, and cultural moments worth tapping
• Shoot and edit original videos and still imagery
• Research athletes, brands, and product categories for creative angles
• Align with our teams content calendar planning and pipeline development
• Contribute to the evolution of an emerging category: social ecommerce meets athlete commerce

WHAT YOU’LL NEED (REQUIREMENTS)

• Current college student or recently graduate (required)
• Strong understanding of Tik Tok and Instagram as creative platforms
• Mastery of Tik Tok platform mechanics: including how to manipulate the algorithm, retain attention, and create highly engaging content
• Shooting & editing skills (Cap Cut, Adobe, Final Cut, etc.)
• Taste, pacing, and visual awareness
• Comfortable collaborating with athletes and capturing content IRL
• Self-directed, resourceful, and fast-moving

BONUS EXPERIENCE (PREFERRED, NOT REQUIRED)

• Experience with social ecommerce, shoppable content, or conversion-oriented formats
• Exposure to influencer, athlete, or creator ecosystems
• Interest in sports, athlete culture, or performance brands
• Confidence being on camera or directing others

DETAILS & COMPENSATION

• 3-month internship contract
• 15 hours per week
• $4,000 stipend for the duration
• Additional performance-based incentives tied to athlete outreach and onboarding
