Job Overview

The Media Operations Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day technical operations of media creations with Imprint Events Group and Imprint Media Productions, producing high-quality video and photography content. Duties will include all aspects of media services from pre-production (scripting & storyboarding), production (filming, producing) and post-production (editing and client communication).

The Media Operations Manager will work directly with our Senior Media Operations Manager and Director of Production to bring our internal and external client’s brand vision to life through engaging and impactful videos. Required to be in-person 2–3 days per week for energizing, real-time collaboration and faster creative problem-solving with the team.

Job Responsibilities
  • Work side by side with the Senior Media Manager to develop best practices for media services
  • Film, edit, and distribute video/photo content for all proper teams and channels.
  • Using  and Microsoft Teams for project management
  • Manage all aspects of video production, including scheduling, directing talent, and managing the filming process.
  • Collaborate with Creative & Technical Production on day-to-day and long-term media operations.
  • Act as the key point of contact for all projects relating to photo and video.
  • Collaborate with internal & external stakeholders to conceptualize and pitch video ideas that align with strategic goals.
  • Manager vendor and independent contractor teams, budgets and deliverables.
  • Stay up to date on latest video production trends and techniques.
  • Enhance videos with graphics, animations, music, and sound effects to elevate the final product.
  • Ensure videos meet brand guidelines and standards for quality and messaging.
  • Oversee Internal Media Library.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients
  • Proactively manage client expectations and ensure their satisfaction throughout the event lifecycle.
  • Provide clear and concise communication, keeping clients informed and engaged throughout the planning and execution process.
Key Competencies
  • Strong storytelling and creative writing skills
  • Hands-on experience with camera operation, lighting, and audio recording
  • Strong working knowledge of Video Production
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional at time management and handling multiple deliverables concurrently
  • Ability to work well under pressure & meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently as well as contribute to a team environment
  • Ability to travel & work non-traditional hours in support of onsite live events
  • Strong organizational & project management skills
Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in event planning, film or TV broadcasting, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in video production, & vendor management
  • Proficient in event planning software & tools, Microsoft TEAMs & Office including PowerPoint, Excel, & Word
  • Knowledge of event planning software;
