Studio Pro Photographer
The Studio Pro photographer is a master of high‑quality photo and video creation, acting as both a creative mentor and operational lead within our studio. Working directly with soona’s top accounts, this full‑time exempt salary position in Denver supports the Studio Lead with senior‑level production expertise, lighting, set design, and client experience excellence.
Responsibilities- Translate client goals into content that exceeds expectations and aligns with business KPIs.
- Work successfully with clients—both in‑studio and virtually—showing strong communication skills and a customer‑first approach. Demonstrate sales acumen by effectively communicating value, upselling opportunities, and building long‑term relationships that drive growth.
- Lead by example in the studio, offering active leadership and support to the Crew Lead Manager, training colleagues, and managing studio tasks that advance soona’s business goals.
- Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, prioritizing client experience while executing strategic time management for smooth workflows.
- Set up and utilize various lighting styles and techniques to address customer needs and achieve optimal results.
- Troubleshoot on‑set challenges and juggle competing projects, maintaining composure under pressure.
- Show enthusiasm and professionalism while producing high‑quality, innovative content daily, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and adaptability.
- Participate in studio operations (pre‑shoot prep, equipment and prop organization, inventory assistance) and maintain a clean, orderly workspace. Some lifting (up to 30 lbs) required.
- 5+ years of full‑time professional photography and videography experience.
- 3+ years of client‑facing or customer‑service experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency with studio lighting, set design, and post‑production workflows.
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining high quality.
- Passion for high‑impact creative work and continuous learning.
- Starting salary range: $66,000 – $78,000 DOE.
