Project Engineer, Civil Engineering

We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support ground-up commercial construction projects in the Denver area. This role will work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to help manage project documentation, coordination, and execution from preconstruction through closeout.

Projects will primarily include educational, institutional, municipal, and small healthcare/clinic facilities
.

This position is ideal for someone early in their construction management career who has already gained exposure to ground-up commercial construction and wants to continue growing within a reputable general contractor.

• Assist Project Managers with daily project coordination and documentation
• Manage RFIs, submittals, and project tracking logs
• Support subcontractor coordination and procurement processes
• Track project schedules and assist with milestone updates
• Review drawings and specifications to support field teams
• Coordinate with Superintendents to ensure smooth field execution
• Assist with project cost tracking, change orders, and budget reporting
• Maintain organized project files and documentation
• Help facilitate communication between owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors

• 1–4 years of experience in commercial construction with a General Contractor
• Ground-up building construction experience required
• Exposure to education, institutional, municipal, or healthcare/clinic projects preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
