Our client is a Denver-based general contractor with a long-standing reputation for integrity, quality, and client-first service. With decades of experience across Colorado, they specialize in new construction, renovation, and adaptive reuse projects across multifamily, education, healthcare, hospitality, municipal, senior living, and mixed-use sectors. Their approach emphasizes detailed preconstruction planning, strategic budgeting, and seamless project execution to deliver high-quality results.

They are seeking a Project Engineer with experience in multifamily and/or K-12 education construction to join their growing team.

Position Overview

The Project Engineer will support the Project Manager and Superintendent in all phases of construction, from preconstruction through closeout. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, values doing the right thing, and wants exposure to complex, community-impact projects across Colorado.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing projects from preconstruction through final completion
  • Support budgeting, cost tracking, and change order management
  • Coordinate submittals, RFIs, drawings, and document control
  • Work closely with field teams to maintain schedule and quality standards
  • Participate in subcontractor coordination and project meetings
  • Help maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are met
  • Support closeout processes including punch lists and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality control standards
Qualifications
  • 2–5+ years of experience
  • Proven experience on multifamily and/or K-12 education projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and project documentation
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Team-oriented with a proactive mindset
