Construction Superintendent

Job Description

This Superintendent role is responsible for the technical execution of commercial construction projects, including schedule development and maintenance, site logistics planning, procurement coordination, and oversight of all field operations. The position requires strong proficiency in construction scheduling, weekly progress updates, inspection management, and interpretation of construction documents to ensure quality, constructability, and code compliance. The Superintendent actively manages trade partners, self-perform work, and site safety programs to maintain zero-injury job sites and uninterrupted production.

The role also involves cost tracking support, risk management, and close coordination with project management to control budgets, sequencing, and change impacts.

Responsibilities

+ Develop and maintain construction schedules for commercial projects.

+ Plan site logistics and coordinate procurement activities.

+ Oversee all field operations and ensure adherence to safety standards.

+ Manage trade partners and self-perform work to ensure quality and compliance.

+ Provide weekly progress updates and manage inspection activities.

+ Interpret construction documents and ensure constructability and code compliance.

+ Support cost tracking, risk management, and budget control processes.

+ Maintain zero-injury job sites and ensure uninterrupted production.

+ Coordinate closely with project management to manage sequencing and change impacts.

Essential Skills

+ Experience leading $5-40M projects.

+ Healthcare/hospital construction experience.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

+ Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

+ Proven problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing conditions.

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

+

Experience with construction scheduling and inspection management.

+ OSHA 30 Certification preferred.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role.

+ Experience in healthcare, education, and commercial projects.

+ Ability to read and/or speak an additional language, such as Spanish.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $72.00/hr.
