Project Engineer (Commercial / Multifamily Construction)

Ideal for Project Engineers who want to grow toward APM, PM, Superintendent, or Preconstruction while learning how commercial and multifamily projects actually get built.

Our client is a respected General Contractor with steady commercial and multifamily work and is adding a Construction Project Engineer to support ongoing projects and future pipeline. You’ll be field-present, working with PMs, Superintendents, and trade partners to drive coordination, documentation, and project progress.

This is not a remote desk role. You’ll spend most of your week on active job sites and in coordination meetings, supporting tasks such as RFIs, submittals, procurement, scheduling, punch, and closeout. This path rewards curiosity and ownership.

• RFIs, submittals, procurement, logs, schedules, punchlist, and closeout
• Coordination with Superintendents and PMs
• Interface with trade partners, owners, and project teams
• Rotate between job sites based on project needs

• Exposure to commercial or multifamily construction (ground-up a plus)
• 1–5 years post-degree in Construction Management or similar
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-through
• Comfortable learning in the field on active projects
• Serious about long-term trajectory and development
• Not a fit for BIM-only, residential-only, or heavy civil backgrounds

No hybrid or remote options for this role
