Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Civil Engineering
The City of Commerce City is seeking a detail‑oriented professional ready to uphold the highest standards in Public Works construction projects. In this role, you’ll ensure that all work and materials meet City plans, specifications, and quality benchmarks. Hiring salary is dependent upon experience. Hiring Range $71,199.63 - $79,110.70

- Ensure that all work and materials meet City plans, specifications, and quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate with fellow inspectors to support essential processes, including Right‑of‑Way (ROW), stormwater compliance, and Certificate of Occupancy procedures.
- Apply high standards of quality to construction projects.
- Contribute to community infrastructure and support the City’s mission to provide exceptional services.
- High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years’ experience in construction inspection or related work required.
- Water, wastewater, stormwater, engineering and ROW construction experience required.
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Individuals in this role must also be willing to take and pass certifications related to the job as they become a requirement for the job.
