The Global Programs Coordinator provides administrative and operational support for the IASLC’s global programming, including coordination for a new Global Council of IASLC members. The Global Council is designed to increase the inclusion of our worldwide membership. The Council’s purpose is to enhance engagement and representation from all IASLC member countries/regions, particularly low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) and to ensure that member perspectives inform IASLC governance, policies, and strategic initiatives.
This position will play a key operational role in working with the council chairs to develop effective processes and communication for the Global Council. The Coordinator will also provide support to other global initiatives, as needed.
This exempt, nonsupervisory position currently reports to the Chief Development Officer and works in our downtown Denver, Colorado office on a hybrid schedule. This position is not eligible for sponsorship or relocation assistance.
In this role, you will:- Serve as the primary staff liaison and point of contact for the Global Council, supporting meeting logistics, member communications, committee documentation, and coordination with IASLC leadership, other member-led committees, and global members.
- Coordinate and execute the Global Council country/region delegate nomination and selection process.
- Collaborate closely with the designated Global Council chairs.
- Manage meeting logistics, including scheduling across multiple time zones, agenda preparation, meeting materials, minutes, and tracking action items.
- Maintain detailed records related to membership, terms, participation, and governance documentation.
- Support the implementation and administration of the Global Council Governance Framework.
- Support communications with country/region delegates regarding participation processes and expectations.
- Support communications via email, virtual platforms.
- Track expenses and assist with budget monitoring.
- Prepare summaries and briefing materials for staff leadership, committees, and the Board of Directors.
- Maintain regular internal communication with other IASLC departments.
- Provide administrative support for Global Policy & Partnerships Committee initiatives as appropriate.

- $58, annually, depending on applicable work experience and education.
- Hybrid work schedule. Employees are based in our Denver office and are allowed to work remotely 2-3 days per week.

A successful candidate will have the following qualifications:- A commitment to the mission of IASLC and compassion for those living with a lung cancer diagnosis.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 2-3 years of experience in program coordination or administration.
