** POSITION SUMMARY
** The Senior Strategy Analyst will play a critical role in shaping the long-term strategic direction of Alterra Mountain Company. This individual will work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to evaluate strategic opportunities, improve enterprise performance, and support high-impact value creation initiatives. They will be a hands-on partner to Resort Presidents, helping identify, design, and implement initiatives to drive growth, enhance guest experience, improve operational effectiveness, and allocate capital at Alterra Mountain Company’s owned resorts.

The role requires a highly analytical, collaborative, and self-starting individual who thrives in fast-paced environment.
** ESSENTIAL DUTIES
**** Strategic Analysis and Planning
*** Support the company’s long-range strategic and annual operating planning processes, including partnering directly with Resort Presidents and business unit leaders to develop their plans
* Conduct market sizing, competitive analysis, customer segmentation, and other analyses to inform corporate, business unit, and resort-level strategies
* Provide insights and recommendations to inform enterprise capital allocation, resource prioritization, and business portfolio decisions
** Value Creation
*** Work with Resort Presidents and senior leaders to identify and quantify initiatives to drive growth, improve operating efficiency, and increase capital efficiency
* Build financial and operating models to inform key strategic decisions, including those pertaining to product strategy, pricing optimization, distribution strategy, and more
* Drive high-impact, cross-functional Priority Programs from business case development through program design and execution
** Company & Market Analysis
*** Conduct in-depth analysis on ski and travel industry trends to uncover changes in competitive dynamics and identify emerging threats and opportunities
* Work alongside business unit leaders to analyze company value drivers and identify and share best practices across the organization
* Build and maintain KPI dashboards and reports, and ensure successful value capture across Priority Programs
** Executive Leadership Team & Board of Directors Support
*** Create clear, compelling presentation materials for quarterly Board of Directors meetings and interim updates
