Information Governance Operations Analyst
Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP is seeking an Information Governance Operations Analyst to support our Information Governance team in our Denver office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the onsite Information Management Specialists to execute Taft policies and processes.
- Use Taft’s information management tools to facilitate the identification, tracking, and processing of physical and electronic information.
- Coordinate with relevant Taft personnel to ensure correct identification, indexing, and management of physical collections retained onsite and at approved offsite repositories.
- Collaborate with the IG Operations Manager and IM Specialists to improve operations for the firm.
- Serve as trainer for IM Specialists and legal case teams on best practices for managing all information.
- Collect and present required metrics as directed by the IG Operations Manager.
- Review, track, and process offsite storage and shred vendor invoices.
- Assist IG Operations Manager with preparing for and executing office moves, expansions, and firm mergers.
- Troubleshoot issues related to technologies used to manage client and firm information and report on solutions.
- Support the onsite IM Specialists with the review of physical and electronic collections prior to archiving.
- Perform database searches and audits as needed.
- Assist with information clean-up projects.
- Special projects and additional duties as assigned and directed by management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of related experience working in information governance/records administration.
- Experience working in a professional services environment.
- Law firm experience, preferred but not required.
- Experience providing exemplary customer service in a fast‑paced environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word).
- Ability to access, input, analyze, and retrieve information from various computer systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
- Ability to support multiple priorities simultaneously accurately and professionally.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dispersed team.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and report successes and challenges.
- Ability to handle and maintain confidential information in a secure manner.
- Law firm experience, preferred.
- Ability to lift 30 pounds.

The salary range for this position is $26.44/hour - $32.21/hour. Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted information based on work experience, education, and/or skill level.
